Character is lost after re-login at Steam in either PC

Hello! Need your help.
My friend lost the character after re-login at his account on either PC (he play into NwN with Steam).
In list of aviable characters remain this character, but his level is 1; lost character's level is 44.
What is it? What i can do with it?
Player "Shamanidze", account "Shamanko", ID UP7EKGWR.
