No, spellcraft. If you don't have enough spellcraft skill to make the skill check, the spell is unknown, which is what I see in the pic, an unknown spell being casted before you die.

Ran into a Pit Fiend in with the boss and NPC in Pripet Mansion. Not really a bug. Lord Pripet (Think that's his name.) can summon a pit fiend if you don't kill him fast enough. It was probably still there from when he just killed someone. The summon does seem to take a really long time to despawn so that might be a problem. I don't know which spell he uses, but it's probably gate. I think the duration of gate is 1 round per caster level so the summon shouldn't last that long. |

I ran into one downstairs...lasted long enough to wipe out 3 of us...
