Oh I forgot that you could access all other servers... Just ACN times out? Thats just wierd tbh\
I'm out of ideas, I find it very strange that it only happens with ACN

Ok sounds like some port that you need for NWN is closed. There are certain ports need to play NWN, if they are closed thats what happens. I remember this from years ago when I was in school in Virginia and the hotel I was in would not open enough ports for me to play. Could also be your firewall but as you stated already that its not that. So next step should be checking your ports in your router. That really could be a port, but the router thingy is a bit tricky... In our house, all the apartments are connected in common router, that is directly connected to fiber. Only ISP has physical or network connection to that one's configuration (at least legal one...) So no way I can check the router settings, other than that I asked from ISP customer service, and they said nothing should be blocked that way... So, I had a chance to use a friend's comp, she has a different ISP, and got through via Gamespy. Could play for a bit, that was cool, but need to get a solution for my thingy too, heh.. Also ran tracert from both comps, and both get timed out after ....chicago.comcast.net router. So, anyone remember any other program or setting that could block this spesific server from my comp? Firewall and router are sort of ruled out... -edit- Forgot to mention, the friend of mine is running XP, and I am running (hate to admit but true) Vista, if that could be part of it. I surprisingly have had very little trouble with my OS, so still have the preinstalled one.. did I ever mention being a bit lazy;-p Try running a vpn, or proxy, to see if it bypasses the last hop that returns a timed out. If that works, then for whatever reason, that DNS itself is blocking your range. You would have to then call that DNS an ask for your range to be unblocked, etc. Hotspot Shield off of download.com be my recommendation for a free VPN. Not sure if it only functions as a http vpn, if not your gonna have to find one that operates with UDP protocol. |

Has anyone else taken the Self Concealment feats?
I used my free million xp to level up a character that takes 5 self concealment feats.
Upon getting my character all leveled up, I looked at it's stats on his character sheet, and I examined him, and nowhere does it show him as being concealed. From what I saw, Self Conceal doesn't seem to be working at all.
If someone gets a chance, could you please check and see if it is working?

I hadn't tested this yet, but I never recalled it appearing in character sheet beyond feat list. Best to check server/combat logs in action to determine this. To my knowledge it works like Epic Dodge, as in only activates in combat, automatically. |
