The server has conspicuously gotten a virus. This is odd in the fact that I have NEVER gotten a virus, ever (and I have been on the internet for about 20 yrs or more.) Anyway, I am in the process of removing this attrocity of my gaming world and will have the server up as soon as I can. I have no idea how long it will take as I have just discovered it, but also know that I can remove it. Until then, I will try to find my back-up comp (welcome back the lag, fellas). Sorry for the inconvenience.

Normally I just use McAfee and I have never had a problem. Since the virus was a trojan, I think the littlest one downloaded it. Regardless, I booted up in safe mode and went back to an earlier restore point. I then restarted and used rkill to kill malware processes. Next I ran Malwarebytes' Anti-malware and SuperAntiSpyware at the same time. I rebooted and used a program called Unhide. Two av scans later all is good. Lastly I used my registry editor to check for any lingering traces...none found. The virus is called FakeAlert!.qrb The very last thing I did was to set a new restore point. All of the programs that I used can be found at bleepingcomputer.com
Note: I do not use the "free" McAfee. I use a paid for version with a subscription. "Free" apps only go so far.

Yeah, a true "virus" these days, excluding worms, trojans, etc. are like a rare feat, it was why I was shocked to hear so.
