We are pretty new to the server and growing everyday. We love playing here on ACN server and enjoy the people very much. Everyone is very nice and very helpful. We have been waiting to register the clan because well ... we didn't have enough members for your requirements for official clan. We now have four members and have been deciding on what a good clan alignment would be. We all decided Neutral, Evil because we feel that we can be evil and respect the law of the land but if we are done over wrongly we can get chaotic evil lol. So we feel Neutral, Evil fits us well lol. Here are our Ranks.
King - ~Z~
Lords - Kali
Disciples -
Guardians - ~Ripper~ Raiden
Hope all is good for us to pass on to be official. Thx
Guild Specific Rules: 1. Swift must abide by all ACN server rules at all times
2. Swift will carry themselves with Honor and pride. Despite what alignments you builds have, we are a Good Clan. We never abandon or ignore one another, even if it means death. Conduct yourself accordingly.
3. Swift do not PP, we are not a thieves guild and will not condone theft. There is one exception to this rule - if you PK someone and they refuse to re-spawn, a max of 3 PP attempts may be made, for death is free to no one.
4. You may use only one Core name for all your Swift builds. We elders are old, and this is to prevent confusing us.
5. In battle, avoid running and healing at all costs. Now, we understand some builds rely on hit and run tactics, but finish the battle win or lose. We also consider it dishonorable to heal during a duel even if the other person does. Swift are not afraid to die.
6. Do not insult or 'trash talk' in Shout, use tell if at all. We understand this is a PVP server and take the good with the bad. No need to slander anyone.
7. The Swift operate as a family, caring and helping one another. We don't charge other Swift for items. instead of loans we give gifts of gold. It is thus advised to create a bank character to store rare, powerful, socky, set, gems, etc. for later builds, and other members. All elders keep multiple banks on hand at your disposal, however, if you wish to take from them, return to them.

The History The Order of Vengeance is an ancient assassin's sect charged with the dutie of laying retribution upon the corrupt. Living as rumor and myth to the general population, even other guilds know very little about this mysterious order. Their reputation is shrouded in mystery and the simple fear of their retribution almost ensures steadfast vigilance against corruption among those who know they are real. If ever enough blood is spilled the order's attention is drawn. Many centuries ago The Imperial Warlords and the Legion of the Damned's incessant wars attracted that attention, and so The Order of Vengeance traveled under countless pale moons to a land stricken with corruption and fear. Carpathia.
The idea behind The Order of Vengeance is based off of "The League of Shadows" seen in the movie "Batman begins" which existed to fight what Ra's al Ghul perceived as injustice and corruption in the world. while also being corrupt or Evil themselves. ::Guild Alignment:: Lawful Evil
Guild Rules
# 1 Rule: Follow Server Rules!!
- No Spamming of Spells or Feats during pvp. this means not casting the same spell in a row.. switch between castings. knockdowns over and over with no normal attacks between, includes called shots and things of this nature.
- Respect the DMs.. they will make you sorry.. not to mention pissing them off and making them hate the guild as a whole is possible. so please show them respect.
- No spying on other guilds via any means at all. eg.. making other accounts to pretend you are someone else.. with hopes to find out info etc. yes.. this should'nt even need to be a rule.. what can i say.. some people can be childish.
- If you are not using a class that can heal as a class ability such as a pally or cleric. do not heal in pvp. (aka don't use heal pots or heal kits, this also includes using healing spell scrolls via UMD) this is during pvp, so if no opponents are on the map you are on. you can heal.
*Members are more then welcome to party with players in any other guild(s) as long as they return to our guild party in time of need. this includes guilds we are at war with.. feel free to party with anyone you want.*
In a case of Harlequin's absence, Sakuta is the leader until I return, no decisions will be made by Sakuta personally, unless there is just cause to do so. Any minute matters will be held as a forum poll. Recruitment policy is as follows: if you want to join, ask an OV member, they will relay the message to either Cain, Sakuta or Harlequin. and we will decide from there. please post recruites here -> http://ovnwn.proboards79.com/index.cgi?board=recruites
1Inactive members are to post about there absence or speak to another member in game and let us know. This is simply so we know who is "just busy" and who has "left or quit" ACN or the guild. Its perfectly understandable that we cant always be active. We have lives outside of the game.. I just think it would be both respectful and the best for the guild in general if we fallow this rule. Communication is important, even if its only a game. Plus, its nice to know what happen to that buddie we play with all the time.
2Members who are AWOL have one month to explain or they are auto removed from the guild. I don't think letting us know whats happening is to much to ask.

How to Secure a Copyright? « Result #17 on Jan 3, 2009, 3:09pm »
Copyright Secured Automatically upon Creation The way in which copyright protection is secured is frequently misunderstood. No publication or registration or other action in the Copyright Office is required to secure copyright. (See following note.)
Copyright protects “original works of authorship” that are fixed in a tangible form of expression. The fixation need not be directly perceptible so long as it may be communicated Copyright Basics · with the aid of a machine or device. Copyrightable works include the following categories: 1 literary works 2 musical works, including any accompanying words 3 dramatic works, including any accompanying music 4 pantomimes and choreographic works 5 pictorial, graphic, and sculptural works 6 motion pictures and other audiovisual works 7 sound recordings 8 architectural works These categories should be viewed broadly. For example, computer programs and most “compilations” may be registered as “literary works”; maps and architectural plans may be registered as “pictorial, graphic, and sculptural works.”

What is a copywright « Result #18 on Jan 3, 2009, 3:07pm »
Copyright is a form of protection provided by the laws of the United States (title 17, U. S. Code) to the authors of “original works of authorship,” including literary, dramatic, musical, artistic, and certain other intellectual works. This protection is available to both published and unpublished works. Section 106 of the 1976 Copyright Act generally gives the owner of copyright the exclusive right to do and to authorize others to do the following: • To reproduce the work in copies or phonorecords; • To prepare derivative works based upon the work; • To distribute copies or phonorecords of the work to the public by sale or other transfer of ownership, or by rental, lease, or lending; • To perform the work publicly, in the case of literary, musical, dramatic, and choreographic works, pantomimes, and motion pictures and other audiovisual works; • To display the work publicly, in the case of literary, musical, dramatic, and choreographic works, pantomimes, and pictorial, graphic, or sculptural works, including the individual images of a motion picture or other audiovisual work; and • In the case of sound recordings,* to perform the work publicly by means of a digital audio transmission.

Exact, we have to see clear in that period of transition. We have to restructure the guild at the moment, and begin with solid bases. I miss Général, like all of us i think, but we have a new leader, and I support Hare at 100%. We re going to be as best as possible to make LoG alive and to make it grow.
As it seems we have not many players on constantly, I have to ask all that still think they belong to LoG let me or Diablotin know... after 3 weeks from now, i will delete inactive players from our ranks. May sound harsh but it's not, just to keep things clear and after that time persons that have been deleted gain membership back by playing and asking for it back.
hi fella just wanted to let you know i resign from LoG.it has been a privilage to be in the guild but i dont feel at home in the guild nothing personal its just the way i feel.I hope we can remain friends.
As General left the post of leading to me, i will try to keep up to it. Long live General, long live LoG;) As it comes to common rantings, I will listen to them and then forget them. No bs from me and to me I hope.
